Armidale '42, A survivor's account

A collaboration between Col Madigan, srvivor of this World War II disaster, artist Jan Senbergs and historian Don Watson, this collector's book, with tipped-in colour plates, tells by words and images the horrific story of the sinking of HMAS Armidale in the Timor Sea, and the gruelling ordeal undergone by the survivors. The book is illustrated with a suite of drawings (now held in the National War memorial, Canberra) by Jan Senbergs and a memoir by Col Madigan. The powerful introductory essay is by award-winning historian and biographer, Don Watson.
