Engaging Reads that will keep you hooked...

Tea Chest by Josephine Moon

A normal day is when I get three or four different people wander into the shop who say... 'I don't know what to read, I want something light, but not too frivolous or ridiculous.. what should I read?' The best description I have been able to come up with to describe this style of books is 'Fluffy with guts'. These are the Liane Moriarty, Lee Child, Geraldine Brooks etc. So to help you out with your next aimless wander around a bookshop (hopefully Dog Eared Books!), here are a few more to add to your list for when you want something fun, but with something to make you think as well. We try and keep as many of these in stock as possible so feel free to email. Contemporary Fiction: Little Coffee Shop in Kabul by Debbie Rodrigeuz When God was a Rabbit by Sarah Winman Tea Chest by Josephine Moon

Daniel Silva and his books.

Historical Fiction: Clifton Chronicles by Jeffery Archer Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton Ship of Brides by Jojo Moyes

Crime & Thriller: Any Daniel Silva Any Phryne Fisher books by Kerry Greenwood An Expert in Murder by Nicola Upson

Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

Fantasy: Time & Time Again by Ben Elton Good Omens by Pratchett and Gaiman Left Hand of God by Paul Hoffman Of course there are going to be varying levels of 'fluff' in these books, so some you might love and some might not do it for you. That's completely fine and if you've read all these, come and see me and I'll recommend some more.
