Custard's Review of Books

Many people have seen photos of Custard, my fur-baby in the shop or on social media. And I thought for our final Blog post of the year, I would talk about his taste in books! He's a cheeky little bunny who loves to claim all the books as his own (rubbing his chin on them). But some books just take his fancy more than others. These he simply must chew and no matter what I seem to do, I can't get him to stop! So these are Custard's top five books he cannot stop tasting...

5. Women's Pages by Debra Adelaide

(He thought he'd be sneaky with this one and just go for the top corner...)

4. Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee

(just a good chomp out of the side)

3. Beyond the Orchard by Anna Romer

(Had a lovely nibble every time he passed it on the bookshelf for a month or so)

2. The Red Queen Isobelle Carmody

(This one was so destroyed, that I recycled it almost immediately, so no photo sorry)

1. Piper's Son by Melina Marchetta

(Don't know what it was about this book, but I came home one day and it had been nibbled all along the edge and as the months have passed this has been the book he's returned to again and again...)

(He thought he might have another go at it while I was taking photos...)

If you know I have a second bunny, Raven – she's a little more discerning in her tastes. The only thing she regularly likes to chew on is my Harry Potter and Hunger Games Box Sets. 😭
