Reading Challenge 2019

I've never been able to complete a reading challenge before. It's obviously not because I don't read enough books, but because I get distracted and go on a reading spree of a particular genre and never quite make it through every genre every year (i.e business books...). But this year I found a list that not only inspired me but I knew I could do it! Some of these topics took some series Google work, finding just the right book that I wanted to read to fulfil the requirements. Some I have to say I stretched the definition a little bit (Stasiland by Anna Funder for True Crime is not wrong... but possibly not right either). Others made me laugh with glee when I realised which book would be perfect (The Rook by David O'Malley lost me some serious sleep).

So here it is - my first ever completed reading challenge. If you feel like you have problems sticking to a challenge, don't worry - check out Georgia's 'How to Read More (The Definitive Guide)' which will be coming out later this month.

Caveat: I didn't listen to an audio book because my life unfortunately does not lend itself to that style of listening but I hope to get to one over the summer break!
