Books with a twist...

Who doesn't love a good who-dunnit? They're certainly very popular around here! But I what I really love is a book where you think you know what's going on but at some point everything gets turned on it's head and you realise you know nothing!

So below are some of the best books I've read in the last few years with a surprising twist... Some you will be very aware of, but I'm including them any way in case you missed it the first time round. Others you'll have never heard of and are difficult to get but well worth the search. I'm also not going to write anything about them (in case I accidentally give something away) but the genres are listed next to them as some of them might surprise you...

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn (Crime Thriller)

Reckoning by Magda Szubanski (Biography)

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes (Fiction)

Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch (Crime/Fantasy)

The Widow by Fiona Barton (Crime Thriller)

The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty (Australian Fiction)

Burning Midnight by Will McIntosh (Young Adult)

The Dinner by Herman Koch (Fiction)

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart (Young Adult)

The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton (Australian Fiction)

Sweet Tooth by Ian McEwan (Fiction)

Remember this list is not complete - these are only the books I've read, and loved for many different reasons.
